APT has tapped into the burgeoning walking holiday market, releasing a collection of guided walking experiences with a touch of luxury. The range comprises four Walking Holidays in Tasmania (x2), Queensland’s Scenic Rim and New Zealand’s Marlborough Sounds region. On the APT Walking Holiday guests will walk with ease, carrying day packs only and will be accompanied by an APT Walking Leader as well as local walking guides. The length of day walks and terrain varies, and guests are accommodated in unique locations, dine on gourmet food and wine, and will have ample free days included.
Chris Hall, APT Managing Director said the new touring style is designed for active and adventurous guests who wish to enjoy being in nature explorations of some of Australia’s and New Zealand’s most spectacular and remote regions in world-class style. “We understand the interest in exploring our local areas and we are looking at all ways we can offer our amazing APT experience to agents and their guests.”We are in the perfect position to offer more touring style options as we have the knowledge, infrastructure and expertise to be able to make it happen in this new travel landscape,” Hall said. The program complements the recent addition of APT Luxury Short Breaks, also in Australia and New Zealand.
