One&Only has opened its first resort in Asia this week, One&Only Desaru Coast.The ultra-luxe property features two themed suite styles, Rainforest and Ocean, with either available as a Junior Suite or Grand Suite, all with either a private plunge pool or lap pool. For guests seeking more space, One&Only Desaru Coast also has a four-bedroom, 1,500 square-metre Villa with its own 27-metre pool. This ‘Pinnacle of Luxury’ includes ample indoor and outdoor living areas, along with a private spa and treatment room.

Nestled on the south-eastern shoreline of Malaysia between lush rainforests and the South China Sea, One&Only Desaru Coast extends across 52 hectares of coastline and boasts a pristine 1.5-kilometre stretch of private white-sand beach.

Accessible in just two hours by car from Singapore and 45 minutes to Johor’s Senai Airport, the ultra-luxury tropical escape will offer guests ultimate privacy, leading wellness programs, destination-defining cuisine and curated experiences that truly celebrate Malaysian culture.

The resort will also offer 50 Private Homes available to own or rent, ideal for families or those who desire a spacious haven to make their own – it is perhaps the perfect destination close to home, once international travel resumes once again.

Internationally, One&Only Resorts has a number of other properties that have re-opened recently following a period of closure as a result of COVID-19.
