Ponant has reported an enthusiastic response to its inaugural live online education program, with more than 1,000 travel advisors and consumers from across Australia and New Zealand participating in last week’s broadcast that was focused on the “Kimberley’s Big 5”.
“This was the first in a series of online events aimed at providing expert insider information about fascinating places and immersive experiences, and we are so excited at this enthusiastic response,” commented Deb Corbett, General Manager Sales & Marketing Asia Pacific for Ponant. “I think a pointer to the extraordinary pent up anticipation our audiences have to visit the Kimberley coast, or return again, once borders reopen.” The online seminar was hosted by Ponant’s National Business Development Manager, Craig Farrell, together with the luxury boutique cruise line’s expedition and destination experts, Mick Fogg and Sandrine Erwin-Rose, sharing their perspectives on what makes Australia’s own backyard “so unique and compelling,” Corbett said. “You could feel the engagement from this wonderfully active group of participants who, remarkably, managed to post over 1,300 comments during the presentation, as excited about finding out more about the Kimberley’s Big 5 experiences as Mick and Sandrine were to talk about it!” For advisors that missed live event and want to know what exactly the Kimberley Big 5 entails, they can watch a replay of the 42 minute webinar on this link.
