Organisers of ILTM (International Luxury Travel Market), Reed Exhibitions, have confirmed the postponement of its annual showcase in Cannes until 2021 while revealing a new virtual series of events to take place before the end of the year. Next year’s event has been locked in for 6 to 9 December 2021.
ILTM World Tour – access all areas, will be a virtual event that aims to unite the global community of buyers and suppliers of luxury travel. A new one-off digital opportunity with a creative difference, ILTM World Tour – access all areas will compensate for the postponed ILTM events in 2020 and provide an environment for international luxury travel brands and regional buyer communities to virtually meet to connect and build their businesses.
“We feel the weight of disappointment at not being able to meet in person, but nothing can ever override the safety of all our attendees at ILTM. So, until we can meet again in person, and make up for all the postponed ILTM’s this year, we have created a one-off digital event with a creative difference,” said Alison Gilmore, ILTM Portfolio Director.
“We know right now that what counts the most is getting business lined up for 2021. We cannot predict the timing of when growth will come back, but we can be ready for whenever it happens,” Gilmore said.
ILTM World Tour – access all areas, will take place across three consecutive days, over three consecutive weeks, reaching three buyer source regions;
- Asia Pacific (17/18/19 November)
- Europe, Middle East and Africa (23/24/25 November)
- North and South America (1/2/3 December)
