Accor will introduce the bespoke Raffles Hotels & Resorts brand to Russia by 2022. Partnering with Russia’s Kievskaya Ploshchad Group of Companies, the French-based hospitality group will open a flagship Raffles hotel in Moscow near the Kremlin. The hotel opening has been flagged for autumn or winter. Accor plans to build the ultra-luxury hotel at Zaryadye Park, adjacent to Red Square, the historical Varvarka Street and Slavyanskaya Square. Raffles Moscow will embody all the hallmarks of sophistication, luxury, service and timeless ambience associated with the esteemed Raffles brand: a combination of elegance, innovative cuisine, art and culture, and its hallmark gracious and intuitive service.

The maiden Raffles in Russia will feature 153 exquisite rooms, spread over nine floors, including 20 two-bedroom suites, 19 junior suites and two luxurious Presidential suites, each featuring two bedrooms and a spacious outdoor terrace. Every guestroom will boast views over Moscow, including four rooms with exclusive access to the green outdoor terrace and courtyard. Raffles Moscow will feature a grand entrance through a historical arch, a unique mosaic outdoor courtyard, a SPA centre with a real Russian bath and multiple thermal zones, a fitness centre and 25-metre swimming pool, beauty salon services and outstanding facilities for special events and business meetings, as well as an exclusive shopping gallery. It will also have five Haute dining restaurants including three signature chef restaurants. Complementing the restaurants will be the legendary Raffles Long Bar, which dates back to the first Raffles hotel in Singapore, home to the famous “Singapore Sling” cocktail. Currently, the Raffles Hotels & Resorts portfolio consists of 15 properties around the globe, predominately in the Asia Pacific region. Accor has five more in the pipeline for the next two years, including Raffles Udaipur which is currently on a recruitment drive and slated to debut in 2020.
