Auberge Resorts Collection continues to sprout new projects in North America, the latest of which will be a new resort in New York state’s Hudson Valley. The new build Wildflower Farms will be focused on nature and wellness escapes, set on a 56-hectare site, located at the foothills of the Catskill mountain range and about 90 minutes drive from New York City. Wildflower Farms, Auberge Resorts Collection’s grounds will include orchards, animals, heirloom gardens, a namesake farm and fields of wildflowers throughout, offering an oasis within reach for urban visitors with limited access to green space.

Sprung from the site where a fallow tree nursery once stood, Wildflower Farms, Auberge Resorts Collection will be brought to life amid an expansive landscape punctuated by views of Shawangunk Ridge, or ‘The Gunks,’ and a flowing river along the forest’s edge. The resort will feature 65 freestanding accommodations built in nature and surrounded by stately white pines and native perennials. The bungalows, cottages and suites will be outfitted with natural materials and amenities including wood-clad ceilings and floors, nubby wool fabrics, cosy window seats, fireplaces, wood decks, private patios and fire pits. The expansive grounds will be home to tennis courts, a pavilion-style open-air gym with a movement studio and miles of dedicated hiking trails. An 835-square-metre Auberge Spa will include five single and one couples’ treatment rooms, outdoor hot tubs and an indoor saltwater pool. Nearby is the Mohonk Preserve, a private reserve known for hiking, biking and rock climbing.
“Wildflower Farms will reinvent luxury in an understated and experiential way, which makes it a fitting collaboration for Auberge Resorts Collection,” said Craig Reid, President and Chief Executive Officer, Auberge Resorts Collection. “There will be no better place to escape for an abundance of green space, a greater sense of wellbeing and transformative culinary experiences.” Wildflower Farms, Auberge Resorts Collection will open in the second half of 2022.
