Some 40 travel advisors from Perth and surrounds rolled up for a showcase of all things Uniworld Boutique River Cruises and Lindblad Expeditions held last Wednesday at Crown Perth. The Perth event was the first in a string of shows being held by The Travel Corporation’s cruise units around the country focused on high-end river cruising and next-generation polar expedition sailings. Leading the events are Alice Ager, General Manager, Uniworld and Cherie Bowman, Industry Account Manager, Lindblad Expeditions. They kept the frontline travel sellers informed on topics such as Uniworld’s enhanced flexibility in the new normal as well as the luxury river line’s upcoming Cruise & Rail programs, and Lindblad’s expanded fleet of ships and new close to home programs. Other events are scheduled for Brisbane (16 June), Gold Coast (17 June) and Adelaide (24 June), with RSVPs still open. The showcase will then extend into August, with events mooted for Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart – find out more, and either register or pre-register, your details here.
