The Skål International World Congress, the only professional organisation promoting global tourism and friendship, will be held in Torremolinos in 2015. Participants are encouraged to register for the workshops and seminars, including: B2B Workshop Date: Thursday 29 October 2015 Time: 3-5pm Place: Sol Don Pablo 4* hotel, Andalucia Room, Paseo Maritimo s/n, Torremolinos Each Skål country present at the Congress has the possibility of having one table free of charge. Please note that it is necessary to book it in advance through the registration form. Additional tables will be available at €50 each for Skål members and €75 each for non-members. The set-up of the room is 50 tables with four chairs each, a plug on each table and Wi-Fi access. A coffee station will be available for all participants attending the B2B. Seminars Date: Thursday 29 October 2015 Time: 3-5pm Place: Sol Don Pablo 4* hotel, Toledo Room, Paseo Maritimo s/n, Torremolinos Session 1 (3-4pm) – 21 Century Perspectives on Science and Society, presented by Prof. Dr. Mr. Remzi Sanver, Turkey Session 2 (4-5pm) – Skål history and its intensive and direct relationship with tourism, presented by Mr. Antonio Garcia del Valle, Honorary President Skål International, Spain Travel Forum Date: Saturday 31 October 2015 Time: 11:15am – 1pm Place: Meliá Convention Centre, Malaga Room, Paseo Maritimo 11, Torremolinos Session 1 – Disaster Relief – How We Can Go MAD (Make A Difference), presented by Mr. Stefan Phang, Director, Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility Sealed Air Asia, Middle East, Africa Session 2 – 10IN10 – a project to see the lives of 10 million people improved and empowered within 10 years by the use of sustainable tourism practices by corporates, localities/regions as well as empowering consumers to act responsibly and sustainably, presented by Skål International Senior Vice President Mr. Nigel Pilkington will present this key note on behalf of Sustainable Travel International. Session 3 – The importance of ecoefficient perception and implementing green efficiency policy from production to services, presented by Mr. Holger Kringe – Sales Manager, Fakir Hausgeräte GmbH Session 4 – The success of the Costa del Sol, the requalification of a mature destination, presented by Prof. Dr. Mr. Rafael Fuentes, Area Manager for Tourism Analysis and Intelligence with “Tourism and Planning Costa del Sol”.
